Felix Culp Architecture is a researched-based design studio that is committed to creating transformative spatial experiences that enhance the lifestyle of its occupants. Felix Culpa is a Latin phrase that comes from the words felix, meaning "happy" or "fortunate" and culpa, meaning "fault" or "fall." Our translation is "happy accident.” Working for major firms in both Detroit and Ontario, President and Founder, Brad Smith, has lead projects ranging from tiny homes to Universities and is licensed in both Ontario and Michigan. Felix Culpa encourages a collaborative approach with clients consultants and contractors to ensure clarity, cohesiveness, trust and respect throughout the entire architectural process. With a desire to produce work that is refined and sought-after, it is our goal to create architecture that is admired for its design while providing lasting value to the client for years to come.
