About Feltham Community Chaplaincy Trust

Feltham Community Chaplaincy Trust (FCCT) is a pioneering multi-faith mentoring organization dedicated to supporting young men aged 15 to 21 as they transition from incarceration at HMP Young Offenders Institute Feltham back into the community. Our mission is to reduce re-offending rates by providing holistic, personalized support that addresses the unique challenges faced by these young individuals. At FCCT, we believe in the power of mentorship and community. Our trained volunteer mentors, representing diverse backgrounds, offer guidance, encouragement, and practical assistance both inside and outside of prison. This multi-faith approach ensures that our support is culturally sensitive and inclusive, catering to the needs of young men from various backgrounds. We are faith based, not faith promoting and work with people of all faiths and none. We collaborate closely with probation services, youth offending teams, housing agencies, medical services and faith and community groups to ensure that our mentees have access to the resources they need for successful reintegration. Our work has been generously supported by the National Lottery, the Jerusalem Trust, The Church Urban Fund, the Catholic Diocese of Westminster, Haberdasher's Company, Garfield Weston, Islamic Relief UK, BBC Children in Need, Lloyds Bank Foundation, City Bridge, Mary Kinross and other charitable trusts. Recognised for our impactful work, FCCT has received the “Best Faith Alliance” award and achieved Approved Provider status from the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation. These accolades underscore our commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young offenders and contributing to safer communities. Join us in our mission to provide hope, support, and a brighter future for young men leaving prison. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
