Founded in 2020, FEMchess is a student-led non-profit that offers free chess coaching and USCF rated tournaments to girls with the mission to increase female representation in chess. In 2023, FEMchess is honored to to receive grants from US Chess At Risk Youth Program, and for three consecutive years (2022, 2023, 2023) awarded grants from US Chess Women to help our mission to empower young women through chess.
