Femmes Digitales is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating the gender gap in the tech industry, with a goal to get more women excited about technology and IT.
Our mission is to cultivate an inclusive workforce and support women as we ride the accelerated wave of digital transformation.
Femmes Digitales is committed to:
• Developing a strong and sustainable network for members and supporters within industry;
• Building mutually beneficial partnerships and relationships with government, academia, and industry;
• Advocating for our members on relevant issues to advance the presence and status of women in technology and life sciences;
• Providing development opportunities and adding value to our members.
We now have more than 200 members, and our community is one of the biggest in Azerbaijan, with the strength and commitment needed to drive change. Femmes Digitales has been helping thousands of women and girls in Azerbaijan, especially from rural areas, to realise their ambitions, achieve their potential and gain the recognition they deserve.
Our events bring together a variety of innovators and tech-related women to explore topics like leadership, development, and growth.
The members of Femmes Digitales come from the world of STEM and tech – scientists, ICT specialists, engineers, researchers, academics, students, and women from legal, accounting, HR, and marketing backgrounds, who have a special interest in the tech sector. But it isn’t just women who join our organisation. We also welcome men – our champions of change – who stand with us in our quest to ensure fair recognition and opportunity for women.
The Femmes Digitales community was founded in 03.12.2014 with an idea: there is a strong, smart, and outspoken girl within all of us. On May 21, 2021, we obtained the official certificate on state registration of a non-profit legal entity under the legal name: “Supporting Women in the field of technology”.
