Fences & Frontiers

Fences & Frontiers exists to make the UK a more welcoming and more inspiring places for refugees to live. Our activities focus on exploring the countryside and cultural spaces – this includes walks, museum trips, and other cultural events. Many of the people we work with are living through the hardest time in their life. Often the trauma they experienced in the homeland or on their journey is exacerbated by the conditions they are living in and the long, uncertain wait for their asylum cases. Our activities are fundamentally about giving people a community, a sense of escape from their day-to day fears and struggles, and a real sense of hope and excitement for their future life in the UK.
