Founded in 1975, Hong Yi Chan, started making her famous rice dumplings out of necessity to survive and make ends meet for her family. Over the years the reputation of her Bah Zhang, a Hokkien-style glutinious rice dumplings, has become a must try dish in Penang.
A family owned business now entering it's 3rd generation of successors, it aims to expand it's brand and flavours to the world and keep the Hokkien heritage alive.
