Bahcesehir High School for Science and Technology

Established in the year 2006 under the leadership of Enver Yücel, a mathematics educator and businessman, BHSSciTech is a highly selective coeducational boarding college preparatory school situated on the periphery of Istanbul. It holds the unique distinction of being the sole not-for-profit institution affiliated with BUEI (Bahcesehir Ugur Educational Institutions). BHSSciTech drew inspiration from the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia, USA, and modeled its educational framework accordingly, marking a pioneering endeavor in Turkey. The institution has played a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape of Turkey by collaborating with scholars from various Turkish universities to develop its curricula. This collaboration eventually influenced the Turkish Ministry of Education to formally recognize 'High School for Science and Technology' as an official high school category in the country. In the year 2022, BHSSciTech relocated to its new premises within the Bahcesehir University Future Campus, situated in Kemerburgaz, a suburban area of Istanbul.
