Ch.ACO Fair

Chile Contemporary Art is a cross platform for the dissemination of visual arts, working all year to raise the human and economic capital which makes possible the realization and implementation of Ch.ACO Fair and activities and programs sponsored by the Foundation of Visual Arts associated (FAVA). Ch.ACO Fair, the Fair of Contemporary Art in Chile, was born in 2009 in the city of Santiago, as a meeting place for national and international galleries that for five days dedicate to the sale of artworks of the artists that they represent. Its two main objectives are: > Support the creation of visual arts industry in Chile through the installation of a communication platform and market. > Promote the practice of collecting as an engine of wealth growth. Ch.ACO Fair consists of many sectors and programs: > Galleries: each year a select group of national and international galleries participate, chosen by a special committee. > Pop_ Up Spaces: program that meets art spaces that, despite being outside the commercial circuits, have given life to outstanding proposals and models of self-management, and have been maintained over time thanks to the work of each of its members. > Editorials: magazines, newspapers, art, design, architecture and fashion. > Institutions: exhibition of national and international museums, universities and public collections. > Art Contests: exhibition of the winners managed by Ch.ACO as Between Ch.ACO and Finland and TrasparentArte, among others. > Discussion: program files installed during the fair with discussion of issues related to contemporary art, both local and international circuit. > VIP: exclusive program reserved for collectors and arts professionals and businesses. > Educational Programs: Ch.ACO mobilizes in schools and family workshops in collaboration with the Artequin Museum.
