Fermcoop est une société Coopérative d’Intérêt Collectif, créée en 2019 par une dizaine d’acteurs du territoire : Cœur d’Essonne Agglomération, l’association Fermes d’avenir et plusieurs agriculteurs, restaurateurs, distributeurs et AMAP. Fermcoop est une jeune société en cours de développement. Notre raison d’être est la création de fermes agroécologiques, respectueuses de la nature et des hommes, afin de permettre une alimentation bio et durable de la population. Notre première ferme réalisée est la Ferme de l’Envol située sur l’ancienne base aérienne 217 à Brétigny-sur-Orge.
