WHY FEST In industry, the majority of companies have difficulties to attract new talent. Therefore, this majority is hindered by the lack of the right knowledge and expertise in their continues growth. Additionally, universities do not have a transparent mechanism to support the industry to reach out and find new talent, which matches competencies and mindset with what the industry needs. FEST creates this bridge towards the right knowledge. WHO IS THE FEST STUDENT A student is a vessel of knowledge without the experience and professional skills to exploit it. The FEST student is: Proactive, flexible and versatile. Driven to generate, translate and evaluate knowledge in practical research and development. Taking initiative to learn more than required by academia. Keen to understand and to adapt to other cultures and professional environments.
