The FfE consists of a research center that has been recognized nationwide for over 70 years and a research company. A team of experienced and practice-oriented employees deals with current issues in energy technology and the energy industry.
A declared statutory goal of the FfE is the training and further education of young scientists. For this reason, a young and interdisciplinary team from the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, geography, environmental engineering, economics, political science and civil engineering is entrusted with project work under experienced guidance.
Through close cooperation with our network of practitioners and our more than 70 years of research experience, we can therefore offer science-based consulting services and expert opinions at the highest level. We identify the opportunities arising from the necessary transformation for society and companies and create an independent, science-based basis for decision-making.
