Forum of Financial Intelligence Units of the GIABA Member States (FFIU-GMS)

The Forum of Financial Intelligence Units of the GIABA Member States (FFIU-GMS) is a regional platform dedicated to enhancing cooperation, coordination, and capacity building among FIUs in West Africa. Established under the auspices of the Inter-Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA), the Forum serves as a strategic hub for promoting financial intelligence sharing, combating money laundering (ML), terrorist financing (TF), Proliferation Financing (PF) and other related threats to regional financial systems. Through advocacy, dialogue, and technical support, the FFIU-GMS aims to strengthen the operational independence and effectiveness of its member FIUs, advance regional AML/CFT efforts, and facilitate joint action to protect the integrity of financial systems across the GIABA region. Membership The Forum comprises the Financial Intelligence Units of the GIABA Member States, fostering regional solidarity and collective action in the fight against financial crime.
