The Functional Genomics and Proteomics Laboratory (FGPL) is a cutting-edge research facility dedicated to advancing agricultural innovation and disease biology. In disease biology, the laboratory investigates a spectrum of complex disorders, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, autism, polycystic ovary syndrome, epilepsy, childhood obesity, systemic lupus erythematosus, and polycystic kidney disease, aiming to unravel their genetic underpinnings and pioneer targeted therapeutic strategies.
