Fibromyalgie de wereld uit helpen, dat is het doel van het Fibrocentrum. Om dat doel te bereiken is er veel onderzoek nodig naar deze ernstige lichamelijke ziekte. Daarom streven wij ernaar om zoveel mogelijk samen te werken met ziekenhuizen en universiteiten. De kennis die daaruit voortkomt integreren wij in onze behandelingen.
Tot nu toe is fibromyalgie nog niet te genezen en daarom zijn onze behandelingen gericht op het leren om gaan met de pijn en vermoeidheid. Fysiotherapeutisch oefeningen, beweging en leefstijlveranderingen zijn belangrijke pijlers van onze behandelingen.
