fig + farro is a vegetarian restaurant located in the heart of Uptown Minneapolis, right in Calhoun square. But come opening day in January, our aim is to be more than just a neighborhood hotspot.
We're entering the restaurant scene with a mission to make it easier for diners to reduce their carbon footprint, one meal at a time. By serving delicious plant-based dishes inspired by family recipes and global flavors, guests can gather over farm tables with passable shared plates that just so happen to be better for the planet. and mindful options have been designed to be substantial enough that guests won’t miss meat on their plate.
Designed with reclaimed materials, implementing sustainable food waste practices and employing a staff that stands behind our mission are just a few ways that we are taking an integrated approach to being eco-friendly.
In the coming months, a non-profit called the Fig Foundation will launch, supporting educational efforts of plant-based eating and climate change awareness to kids and young adults.
