Fight4Balance (F4B) is an Australian registered charity dedicated to improving the lived experience and wellbeing of adolescent youth with learning and perceptual disabilities and their families. F4B delivers programs centred on family prosperity, utilizing dynamic peer-to-peer buddy systems. All F4B programs are designed in consultation with our team of clinical health and training practitioners adopting an evidence-based platform, combining research evidence, expert opinion, and well-grounded experience.
The community we serve includes adolescent youth with mild to moderate learning and perceptual disabilities associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, Acquired brain injury, Fragile X syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome, and other undiagnosed learning and perceptual disabilities.
Our vision is to provide pathways for affected youth and their families to connect with mainstream sporting clubs, school-based community programs and vocational employment programs to foster a sense of belonging and strengthen the bonds between disabled and non-disabled communities.
