FilmD specializes in the preservation of film, video and audio collections. Its origins can be traced back to 1932 when Tobis Portuguesa was founded, which for several decades was the film production and lab processing leading company in Portugal. In 2004 Tobis began its digital video transcription services and in 2012 its digital postproduction and digital archive departments were acquired by FIlmD.
FilmD has been trusted by broadcasters, museums and private companies to preserve their media libraries.
