Filmmakers Collaborative SF is a nonprofit media organization with a mission to catalyze positive change through the power of filmmaking.
We believe film can move hearts and minds as we address the social, environmental, and cultural issues of our time. Since our founding in 1988 by veteran, award-winning filmmakers Michal Aviad and Kevin White, our filmmakers have produced and distributed dozens of films telling compelling stories with diverse perspectives to enhance public awareness and facilitate informed decision-making towards a more equitable, sustainable, and just world.
We help filmmakers get their films made! Our services and programs include: workshops, screenings, member drop-ins, fiscal sponsorship, sliding scale consulting, and an incubator program.
