Filta-Matix started its operations in January 1976 and within two years became one of the largest distributors of filter products in South Africa. Filta-Matix prides itself, nearly 40 years later, in offering the largest range of air, gas and liquid filters in South Africa. The company is renowned for its ability to manufacture replacement filters locally to stringent international quality standards. In doing so, significant cost savings on all filtration related products that were previously imported can be realised. Filta-Matix has now become the market leaders in Laboratory and Cleanroom Equipment after substantial investment in infrastructure and machinery for this product range. Emphasis is placed on safety and to prove compliance to international standards, the Company has had independent tests conducted by Tintsch gmBH as well as the NRCS who are based on the South African Bureau of Standards campus in Pretoria. Filta-Matix employs internationally trained specialists to do cleanroom validation, providing technical support and expertise. A testing facility with the most modern analysers and instruments for verification of air and oil quality standards, as well as for in-house quality assurance monitoring. In addition to the supply and delivery of an extremely wide range of products, the company also offers total filter management & maintenance programs, as well as inventory management systems which result in considerable cost saving to its clients. Filta-Matix’s quality management systems have been incorporated to ISO 9001 standards and all products are tested for compliance to performance requirements.
