Fimbul Design AS

Fimbul is a design studio located in Oslo Norway. Fimbul specialize in working with products, furniture, lighting and interior. The two designers Jo Korneliussen & Kristian Aarseth met while studying in Denmark and started working together when they moved back to Norway. Kristian Is educated MA industrial design at The Oslo School of Architecture and design. Jo is educated MA furniture and spatial design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts - School of design in Copenhagen. Fimbul’s vision is that design can be a positive contribution to any given complex problem. In old norse mythology fimbul means strong and powerfull and is the three year long winter before ragnarok. Fimbul is strong norwegian design with focus on functionality, nordic tradition and storytelling.
