Launched in 2010, Finance Birmingham started out with just £10million funds under management. Working closely with several Councils and investing Enterprise Partnerships, the business strived to support businesses to unlock their potential, to help economic growth and job security. Finance Birmingham was originally set up in the wake of the global finance meltdown, to provide new channels of funding for SMEs when high street banks created a major lending gap by becoming more weary and risk-averse.
In 2016, as the natural extention to Finance Birmingham, Frontier Development Capital was launched as a national fund manager offering a range of debt finance packages to growing UK businesses to help them develop, thrive and progress.
