Finance for a Sustainable Future is the first initiative focused on improving sustainability education among junior finance professionals and students across Europe. Since our establishment in 2017, we have been working towards this by:
• Giving students and young finance professionals a platform to discuss and learn about sustainability issues
• Connecting junior professionals to financial institutions with a strong focus on sustainability
• Building partnerships with international organisations, universities, research institutes and NGOs
• Engaging with finance firms to encourage them to include sustainability in their core training programs.
Finance for a Sustainable Future has been recognised as a leading youth environmental initiative. In 2017, the concept was recognised by the McKinsey NGWL Award. In 2018, it was selected as one of the top 5 European youth environmental initiatives by the UN Environmental Program. In 2019, it was
part of the ChangemakerXchange by Ashoka and Robert Bosch Stiftung.
