Financial Modelling

Financial Modelling refers to a scientific process of design and development of Financial Models that builds in validations, maps internal scenarios with external environments and uncertainties, individual process objectives with that of the entity's objectives, recognises respective constraints, enhances automation and minimises the probability of bias. Financial modelling enhances the effectiveness of the performance of a business entity. Business Entities design and develop financial models with reference to strategic and tactical objectives: Whether it is in the context of the most important objective of a CFO's mandate, namely maximisation of wealth or in the context of evaluation of a project or of credit policy decisions, proactive financial management requires an entity to implement an effective financial modelling process.
