È una società privata attualmente soggetta a direzione e coordinamento di Lighthouse Investments S.p.A.
Fingestioni SGR gestisce NextFund. Lanciato alla fine del 2004, fu il primo fondo mobiliare chiuso di venture capital pubblico-privato in Italia. NextFund è sottoscritto da investitori istituzionali e fu istituito a suo tempo da Regione Lombardia con lo scopo di sviluppare sul territorio lombardo un mercato del venture capital orientato all’innovazione e allo sviluppo di nuove tecnologie.

Fingestioni SGR manages NextFund. Launched in late 2004, it was the first public-private venture capital closed-end fund in Italy. NextFund is subscribed by institutional investors and was established by the Lombardy Region with the aim of developing an innovation-oriented venture capital market and new technology development in the Lombardy region.
