Finnish Debating Association - FINDA

FINDA, the Finnish Debating Association is the association of the university debating societies in Finland. Our aim is to promote argumentative skills and discussion in Finland via competitive debating. We wish to offer debating and learning opportunities to everyone in Finland, regardless of background, education or public speaking experience. We believe in the power of logical argumentation and public speaking and want to help you reach your goals by sharing these skills with you. Together with our members societies, we provide these learning opportunities for students and other private individuals; and for organizations, companies, and NGOs we offer tailored workshops according to individual needs. Founded in 2015 by six university debating societies representing Aalto University, University of Eastern Finland, University of Helsinki, University of Jyväskylä, University of Tampere and University of Turku, we continue to be the largest debating organization in Finland. We also represent Finnish debating internationally at the university and high school levels, holding a vote in the European University Debating Championships (EUDC) council and the World University Debating Championships (WUDC) council.
