The European COST (Cooperation in Science and Technology) project on Fintech and Artificial Intelligence in Finance is a research and networking tool, comprising 200+ researchers from 38 European countries and 5 international partner countries.
The Action Chair is Prof. Dr. Joerg Osterrieder, Professor of Finance and Risk Modelling at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (Switzerland) and Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Finance at University of Twente (Netherlands).
The Action investigates Fintech and Artificial Intelligence in Finance in all its aspects with a particular focus on:
- Transparency in FinTech
- Transparent versus Black Box Decision-Support Models in the Financial Industry
- Transparency into Investment Product Performance for Clients.
The Action will bridge the gap between academia, industry, the public and governmental organisations by working in an interdisciplinary way across Europe and focusing on innovation.
