FinTech Days Tirana 2022 is an exciting set of events, happening for the first time in Albania, addressing not only the most important challenges of the Albanian FinTech sector, but also looking at what is next for the financial services in the country. The Open Banking aspect of PSD 2 is bringing FinTechs and traditional banking providers together to improve the services they offer to customers – but is that just the first step towards a world of true collaboration? How can embracing a spirit of partnership in an Open Banking environment drive a greater end-client experience and deliver real benefits to both partners and customers? We will also explore what is the journey of digital onboarding in the Albanian financial sector, its current challenges and opportunities. These unique FinTech events will bring together young entrepreneurs, online service providers, fintech companies, regulatory institutions, and more, in panel discussions in order to look at how businesses and innovators can adapt in the coming years in order to present FinTech solutions and achieve success. You will be able to hear from our speakers on some of the hottest FinTech topics, take in case studies, ask questions, and network with the FinTech community. We’ll take a closer look at the digital transformation that has occurred in the past decade in Albania’s payment and banking sectors. Open banking will be for sure the key theme, having recently adapted the PSD 2 law in the country. The purpose of the Fintech Forum would be to dispel doubts and myths about FinTech, and create a forum for discussing regulations, transferring best business practices from local and international markets, while also presenting some fresh solutions. We believe that the Forum is the perfect site to promote the FinTech industry and innovations in financial services.
