Originally founded in 1990, our team consistently captivated fans with its dynamic on-field performances and dedication to excellence for over a decade winning the coveted 1999 Arenabowl Championship over the Orlando Predators with a victory of 59-48! Unfortunately, a little over a 1 year later the franchise was relocated to Indiana on October 19, 2000. Over 20 years later the spirit of the Albany Firebirds is more alive than ever with the help of local ownership, political leaders, and most importantly our dedicated fans! You can catch Firebirds Arena Football every spring, live at the MVP Arena in downtown Albany!
