Firefly Counseling Services, P.C. is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of our community through care education and healing. We offer mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families utilizing a variety of theoretical perspectives including, but not limited to: humanistic person centered, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy and family systems therapy. Services offered include: Individual, couples and family therapy Psychological testing/evaulation EMDR treatment for children, adolescents and adults DBT individual and group support Expressive therapies including play and drama therapy from credentialed registered play and drama therapists. Support groups with topics targeting specific populations. Animal Assisted Therapy (Therapy Dog 'Apollo' is in the clinic 2-3 days/week) Consultation for parents, schools, agencies and other organizations Parent education and training Presentations for schools and community organizations Mental health consultation/diagnosis School observation/consultation Training opportunities for professionals.
