Fire TS Laboratory is an IANZ accredited ISO 17025:2017 certified laboratory of fire resistance testing. The laboratory accreditation scope includes AS1530.4, BS, EN, & ISO standards of compliance, and it is being constantly expanded. The facility also has technical capabilities to replicate all types of tunnel fire curves (RABT-ZTV(car), RABT-ZTV (train), RWS, HCM, HC) and conduct the testing in conjunction with the latest revision of Efectis fire testing procedure & EFNARC specification. Our sophisticated testing equipment allows the team to program and perform a parametric fire curve for Clients’ bespoke research inquiries.
Fire TS Laboratory operations team is able conduct fire resistant testing of construction systems for FRL/FRR endorsement in pilot scale and full-scale furnaces. The laboratory has technical capacities of testing loadbearing structural elements applying dead-weights and hydraulic loading in full-scale testing.
Pilot scale furnace opening dimensions are 1200mmX1200mm. Using the pilot furnace, it is possible to test joints, service penetrations, smaller elements of the structure or to undertake small scale testing before moving to the full-scale test.
Full-scale tilting furnace opening dimensions are 4000mmX3000mm. Both vertical and horizontal testing can be undertaken in this state-of-art piece of equipment.
In laboratory we go extra mile to support our Clients and provide testing services in full compliance with the standards accompanied by friendly and caring environment for our new and existing Clients. Our customer service is responsive and attentive considering that many of our customers are unfamiliar with such testing and calling us to learn how they can fire rate their products/systems.
Our technical team is fully committed to a timely scheduling of the testing slot and right on time delivery of an endorsed/custom report which is only 2 weeks after the test execution.
