Hutton – A Legacy of Quality and Tradition in Pasta Making Over 34 years ago, in the small village of Botiz near Satu Mare, Romania, the Hutton family started a humble homemade pasta business. What began in a 50 sqm workspace with just five family members crafting 20-25 kg of traditional noodles daily has grown into one of Romania’s leading pasta manufacturers. In the early years, our signature "Wedding Noodles" (Tăiței de nuntă) became a beloved tradition, known for their high-quality flour and fresh eggs, with no added water—because special occasions deserve the best. As demand grew, we continuously innovated, moving from handcrafted tools to state-of-the-art Italian technology, always maintaining our commitment to quality. By 2003, we expanded into a modern production facility, increasing capacity to 3,500 kg per day and diversifying our range with short pasta, fideua, and more. Further investments in 2006 and beyond allowed us to triple production, partner with distributors across Transylvania, and reach national and international retail chains. Today, thanks to our dedication to excellence, Hutton stands as the largest pasta producer in Transylvania with 100% Romanian capital and ranks among the top three in the country. Our journey has always been about more than just pasta - it’s about passion, reliability, and delivering the highest quality to every table.
