The Foodservice Industry Risk Management Association (FIRMA) powered by the Restaurant Loss Prevention & Security Association (RLPSA) is a member-driven organization dedicated to the education and advancement of risk professionals in the restaurant, retail, and hospitality industries. FIRMA was founded with the knowledge that effective risk management principles and programs are critical to the success of every company. The association currently boasts over 1,500 members. FIRMA was founded by a group of committed risk professionals with a profound desire to network with peers facing common strategic challenges. FIRMA utilizes a unique membership philosophy to provide our members with a cost-efficient, but effective way to support the success of our members. FIRMA members understand the safety and security of employees and business invitees is paramount to all other considerations. By educating and supporting risk professionals, FIRMA is contributing to a safer and more secure culture for our member companies. In November of 2021, FIRMA merged with RLPSA, creating one organization dedicated to the education and advancement of security, loss prevention, safety and risk professionals
