The centre for finance, risk and resource management (FiRRM) is a research centre at the Technical University of Dortmund. We receive students and researchers from diverse academic backgrounds who conduct cutting-edge research in quantitative finance, and are actively engaged in projects with industry, the public sector, and local businesses. We specialize in modern financial applications to the real economy and the application of risk management. For example, we develop forecasts for future developments or hedging strategies, as well as for non-tradable commodities.
