The vision of FaY is to promote FIRST involvement in the Yale community, while also providing our members with professional opportunities. FaY acts as a liaison between the FIRST headquarters, FIRST’s regional bodies (NEFIRST & CTFIRST), Yale University, and local FIRST teams. FaY supports FIRST teams with volunteers, resources, educational events, and publicity, with the ultimate goal of strengthening the relationship between Yale University and FIRST programs. FaY also serves as a collegiate network for both FIRST® alumni and supporters. FaY supports its members’ continued involvement in FIRST, whether through volunteering or mentorship, from college matriculation to career placement. In addition, FaY strives to provide a valuable social group of students that share a similar interest through FIRST.
