First Five EMS Education

When people ask me what First Five stands for or means, I ask them "When there is a medical emergency, when do you intervene with life saving medical care?" For those of you who are not medically trained, the answer is the First Five minutes of patient contact. During the First Five minutes of a medical emergency there are several decisions that need to be made and medical interventions performed on patient. The decisions made and interventions performed may adversely affect patient outcome/survival. First Five LLC is comprised of licensed Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics and Medical Professionals. We are also Licensed Emergency Medical Services educators dedicated to the preservation of life safety by providing Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) training, CPR/First Aid training and Continuing Education to practicing EMT-B/Paramedic's. We are the same men and women that respond when 911 is activated. First Five LLC is licensed and insured. First Five Medical Services is a Chicago based company that is dedicated to providing Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) training to self motivated individuals who are interested in a new and rewarding career. We also offer CPR Classes, Event Medical Staffing and Continuing Education to existing EMT-B's and Paramedic's at our facility. We provide life saving training and experienced emergency care to make the world we live, work and play in a safer place.
