First Light Widowed Association connects young Australian widowed people through peer-support programs (such as local community meet ups and Camp Widow Australia), social media and an online community. We provide information and resources to those newly widowed and to those who are supporting young widowed people.
Our organisation is operated by volunteers and our programs are funded entirely through our fundraising efforts and corporate sponsorships.

We will facilitate a community where members can find positive camaraderie and support each other through their grief, with the understanding that they are not alone.
We will host a life-affirming retreat that provides both useful tools and inspirational resources for widowed people from all walks of life.
