First Nations Futures

First Nations Futures was established to respond to First Nations community organisations facing systematic exclusion from funding systems in so-called Australia. While colonisation has generated wealth for many, and billions flow annually to mainstream organisations - only 0.5% of philanthropic funding reaches First Nations-led organisations. We exist to shift the dial. Through strategic wealth redistribution, First Nations Futures builds sustainable funding pathways through calling on individuals, corporations, and philanthropists to move beyond acknowledgement to material action - redirecting resources directly to community-controlled solutions. We build long-term partnerships that support community-led initiatives across the continent engaged in work that centres young people, climate action, cultural strengthening, and cultural governance.
