FIRST Robotics Team 702: Bagel Bytes

We are a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team at Culver City High School. Our team is student led, with support from coaches and mentors. Founded in 2000, Team 702 - Bagel Bytes - inspires STEM education and careers while building valuable life skills. We fully embrace the FIRST principles of Coopertition and Gracious Professionalism, collaborating with and helping other FRC teams, and hosting teams from Europe and Asia. We operate on a lean budget and count on the support of sponsors and the community. In 2023, we were in the winning alliance of the Los Angeles Regionals, and competed at the World Championships in Houston. The Bagel Bytes does community outreach and volunteers their time with kids at the local elementary schools to nurture their interest in science, technology, engineering and math. The Team also actively supports the Aquarium of the Pacific and volunteers for Walk3to9, an annual Breast Cancer Walk that raises money for the Dr. Susan Love Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.
