A LinkedIn Live series hosted by corporate inclusion visionary and co-founder of nFormation, Deepa Purushotaman to share the stories of women of color who’ve reached high ranks of leadership in their professional lives and are often “the first, the few and the only” in their positions.
Inspired by Deepa’s upcoming book of the same name, the series will feature women who have overcome barriers of race, class and gender to gain influence and power in a system that was never designed for them.
Guests will include both entrepreneurs and executives, such as Angela Chee, Lisa Sun, Rani Mani, and Ginny Clarke.
Women of color face unique challenges in the workplace and often feel isolated, overextended, and invisible no matter how much they’ve contributed or achieved. And more and more of us are realizing that a seat at the table isn’t sufficient.
The table needs to be re-imagined, along with outdated models of success, leadership and power.
By sharing authentic, raw and vulnerable interviews with women who have found their voice, confidence and purpose despite all odds, this series will open up dialogue around new frames that allow all WOC to thrive in the workplace.
