The First Responder Task Force (FRTF) was created to serve those who put themselves in harm's way. On 9/11 we lost 414 First Responders who were killed in the line of duty. That mass casualty on 9/11 shed light on exclusions & restrictions that are often buried in the fine print of for-profit insurance policies. A devastating number of the victim’s families’ were denied or delayed death benefits due to exclusions such as "Acts of War", "Acts of Terror," Hazardous Duty," and "Line of Duty". The latter two exclusions impact First Responders every day.
FRTF steps in to do what's right by providing, ON & OFF duty exclusion-free survivor benefits for First Responders to protect their families. We believe that behind every uniform is a life, every life has a story, and how we impact that story matters to us.
