Enjoy in a climate-friendly way, without a guilty conscience. Our vegetable specialities come from the greenhouse of the future in Meggen and have not travelled 2000 km! Fresh wasabi or other delicacies come with the highest nutritional content and taste directly into the kitchen. The future consequences of climate change, such as hot days, drought or heavy precipitation, call for a resilient and integrative system for natural food production. For this purpose, natural cycles are adapted by using fish and plants in equal measure. This interaction creates an ideal environment for healthy and nutrient-rich growth, completely without pesticides and artificial fertilisers. This project aims to reactivate damaged greenhouses in Meggen and to build an aquaponics pilot plant for the production of fresh herbs for delicatessen restaurants in Switzerland.
