Previously Imago Fishing. Fishing is a defunct startup and digital agency, acquired in 2007. We were pioneers on interactive SMS flows, interactive SIM Card menus and WAP sites, before smartphones being a market reality. Our largest client was Telemig Celular (now owned by Telefónica).
Our main products:
– PedeTudo.com, similarly to GrubHub allowed users to order food from local restaurants in Brazil. The orders were taken in an old school setup that included a facsimile.
– SMS news manager. One of the first integrated solutions with telecom companies in Brazil, our SMS manager had scheduling broadcast capabilities. Our main client was Trip Editora, who owned "Trip Sem Fio", with thousands of monthly subscribers.
Fishing was acquired by Aorta and later Aorta was acquired by PontoMobi.
