Fisterra Projects is a collaborative nexus for interdisciplinary projects that promote personal and social well-being on a community, national, and global scale through the arts, aided by science and technology. We are caring polymaths who engage communities facing erasure in a process of introspection, expression, and play with new autonomous media to inspire people to greater trust, satisfaction, and prosperity through connectedness to their community, place, and purpose. Our central project, XYZ Atlas, is a community art project and hedonic mapping tool that asks Austin residents and tourists why we feel a sense of belonging to a place, meaning that each project is not only guided but constituted by the voices of our community.
