About Fit4Surgery

Fit4Surgery wil voor iedereen prehabilitatie toegankelijk maken. Fit4Surgery is een programma voor mensen die een (zware) operatie ondergaan. Ons doel is om o.a. de conditie te verbeteren, zodat iemand beter bestand is tegen de operatie. Onderzoeksresultaten laten zien dat er minder complicaties optreden, er een kortere opnameduur is en een sneller herstel. ‘Hoe fitter erin, hoe fitter eruit’. Dit noemen we prehabilitatie. Ons programma bestaat uit fysieke trainingen, verbeteren van voeding, mentale begeleiding, het behandelen van specifieke ziekten/kwetsbaarheden en het stoppen met roken en drinken van alcohol.
