FIVA™Flow is a medical device which monitors flow through gravity-fed IV fluid systems. FIVA™Flow was developed to address the problem of IV fluid bags running dry unnoticed, which studies show can occur 1 out of 2 IV infusions.
FIVA™Flow solves this problem by detecting when an IV bag is empty, pinching the IV line to prevent air from entering the line, and alerting the clinician that the bag needs to be changed. FIVA™Flow also measures and displays the flow rate and total volume infused on the screen.
