About Five Points Development Corporation Above all else, we are placemakers first, carefully considering the WHY and HOW of every place and property we touch. In fact, we chose our company’s name as an homage to the original Five Points Development Corporation, which was founded in the 1920s and played an influential role in the neighborhood. As a Black-owned company responsible for most of the Black-led development work in the Five Points neighborhood during the 1920s through the 1950s, the original Five Points Development Corporation serves as an inspiration for our modern-day mission. We thoughtfully examine every detail of a project to ensure its distinction and legacy in the community. And our core values—Integrity, Diversity, Quality, Sustainability, and Innovation—are carried through to every place we build.
