FIVR

The purpose of the Finnish Virtual Reality Association (FIVR) is to advance virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) development and related activities in Finland. Together with the Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE) and Technology Industries of Finland Centennial Foundation, we have created the FIVR Hub hackerspace. The FIVR Hub offers shared space and hardware for people working with VR and AR projects. Currently equipped with powerful PCs, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rifts. We are acquiring more hardware as it becomes available. The FIVR Hub is located at YLE Iso Paja in Pasila, Helsinki. We organize events where it is possible to get to know Finnish VR and AR applications, their developers, and the latest technology.
