Motivated by the disability rights movement saying, “Nothing about us, without us,” FixPat’s mission is to disrupt the carceral logic pervasive in the disability systems of care, which contribute to the many poor health and social outcomes for people with disabilities and their families in four strategic areas. This includes:
Develop a membership-based network of caregivers, advocates, and disability services via NeuroMama Cooperative.
Distribute a variety of wellness products to members via a monthly subscription care package delivery program.
Provide peer support services for neurodivergent caregivers and multi-generations impacted disabled households with pregnant people at the last month of pregnancy, children, and school-aged youth to promote wellness, advocacy, preventative and early intervention care.
Host inclusive community programming that demonstrate our JEDI3 values.NeuroMama, a cooperative model monthly subscription boxes for neurodivergent pregnant mothers, and families of children with disabilities birth to 8 years old.
