We have a schooling system built for a world that no longer exists. Originally designed during the Industrial Revolution, the traditional education model was created to produce obedient workers—individuals prepared to sit in rows, follow instructions, and perform repetitive tasks. While the world has changed dramatically, the classroom hasn’t kept pace. Students are still being trained for 9-to-5 jobs in an era that now values innovation, adaptability, and entrepreneurial thinking. At Flare School, we’re on a mission to bridge this gap and prepare the next generation for the real world—not the outdated one. The modern economy demands financial literacy, critical thinking, creativity, and the ability to solve real problems—yet most school curriculums are still rooted in rigid memorization and obsolete content. Worse still, students are pushed into tens of thousands of dollars of university debt to gain skills that may be irrelevant by the time they graduate. We believe it’s time for a better way. That’s where Flare School steps in. We deliver engaging, age-appropriate programs that teach students from Kindergarten to Year 12 how to manage money, think like entrepreneurs, solve problems, and build businesses—not just résumés. Our curriculum includes: - Shark Tank-style pitch events - Kids’ market stalls and real-world selling - Immersive financial literacy games - Critical thinking, negotiation, and creativity workshops We work directly with schools, educators, and parents to implement programs that are simple to run, scalable, and designed to fit seamlessly into existing structures—without increasing workload for teachers.
