Film & Arts Society, BRUR - flas

In pursuit of fostering an enriched cultural atmosphere and nurturing a strong sense of Bengali nationalism, the student-led cultural and creative organization known as the "Film & Arts Society (FLAS)" was established at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, on December 11, 2016. FLAS, characterized by its apolitical and non-communal stance, is committed to preserving the cultural heritage of Bengal while proudly representing our revered university and the nation of Bangladesh through the promotion of vibrant cultural practices. This dynamic organization places a spotlight on a diverse range of creative outlets, encompassing video documentaries, photography, music videos, fine arts including painting, as well as the performing arts such as dance, drama, and acting, all of which are passionately explored by the talented students of Begum Rokeya University. Moreover, FLAS serves as a nurturing platform, empowering students to unleash their inner creativity and providing unwavering support wherever it's needed.
